TOP 5 MUST DO’S

White Sand Dunes

Kite boarding and Wind surfing
Take a kite boarding and wind surfing which Mui Ne is quickly becoming a South East Asian Mecca due to its Asia's strongest and most consistent cross-onshore winds and the lowest rainfall in Vietnam. Every day is a perfect day.

Traditional fishing village

Po Sha Inu tower

Pay a visit to Po Sha Inu tower, a derelict remainder of the ancient Cham culture that was built in the 8th century.

Eat & Drink

Mui Ne and Phan Thiet are heaven for seafood lovers – after all, fishing in the South China Sea is still the main source of income for the locals.
There are countless fine dining options, seafood specialty palaces and Western fusion operations.

Fish sauce (Nuoc mam)
As the region is known for its fishing industry, local cuisine revolves around the bounty of the sea. While much of the seafood served up at tourist restaurants in PhanThiet is imported from other regions, a few local specialties deserve your attention.
Whether you love it or hate it, Nuoc Mam, or Fish Sauce is the most widely used flavoring agent in Vietnam and an integral part of the cuisine. See it made, grab a bottle for yourself and dip into what’s been dubbed the Vietnamese ketchup. Just don’t try to eat it with chips.

One day dried squid (Muc mot nang)

The main catch here is squid and the local favorite is one day dried squid, a deliciously potent appetizer. Usually served with an assortment of dipping sauces such as chili or pepper lime, grab a plate of chewy goodness and try not to choke on the tentacles.

Con Dong

For a more exotic dish, try Con Dong, local lizards barbecued with lemongrass and chili or prepared in a soup with tamarind and noodles.
